Marino Campus

With the opening of Marino Campus, your dream of learning in a college-like environment is now within reach. Located in the heart of Fort Lauderdale, Marino Campus offers a new post-secondary educational opportunity for young adults with autism and other developmental disabilities. If you are ready to make new friends, and develop practical skills for lifelong careers and independence, then Marino Campus might be perfect for you!

Developed by The Dan Marino Foundation, Marino Campus is the logical “next step” in promoting the independence of individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. The Foundation has served the disability community for over 20 years, and is a recognized, trusted leader, both nationally and internationally, for providing comprehensive and integrative resources.

Marino Campus is uniquely designed to offer training, services, and support for individuals with varied cognitive and social abilities. Students at the Campus will engage in a person-centered planning process to assist them in identifying their unique talents, interests, and employment goals. The development of self-determination skills will be embedded in all facets of their educational experience within the Campus.

Once you are accepted to Marino Campus, you may choose from one of our three programs of study – Computer Technology, Hospitality, or Retailing. Each of these areas is led by faculty members who are experienced educators and seasoned professionals in their field. They have the industry experience and knowledge to help prepare you for success. Class sizes are small, and the classroom environment is engaging and interactive. After choosing your program of study, you become part of a cohort – a group of fellow students with shared goals who support one another and complete the program together.

Marino Campus occupies a newly-renovated 16,000 square-foot building at 400 North Andrews Avenue in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Our facility includes educational classrooms, a virtual reality career lab, computer center, student union, art studio, café and courtyard, and a health and wellness center. Students will have access to state-of-the-art technology throughout the building including wireless and hard-wire internet – all within a modern and comfortable learning environment.
